look, i won eurovision back in 2014, so i do believe i am at least a little bit of an authority when it comes to deciding who is and isn't european. i do not intend this as a personal attack, i just see it as my duty to set things straight, given that i am a moderator on this forum.

I'm from Ireland but I live in Germany.

I do worry that this state of affairs will end if there are more Exits. I can't see Ireland pulling an Eirexit, because Ireland would barely exist economically if it weren't for the EU.

if anything it seems more likely that northern ireland will secede and reunite with the rest of the island if the brexit is ever actually triggered

even if it's not, younger generations progressively trend more towards wanting unification as the memory of the troubles fades. also northern ireland looks like a shot for shot remake of the shittiest parts of wales and desperately needs erdf funds

Yeah, it certainly makes sense that it would happen in order to remain in the EU. Same with Scottish independence.

I wonder what effect this will all have on London's (and Guildford's) videogame industry. It can't be anything good.

Unfortunately, I'm in the absurdly bland suburban town of Onalaska, WI. On the one hand, nothing ever happens here but on the other hand we have a fantastic punk scene.

France could very well emulate the Brexit if Republicans cannot sort out there sh*t there before 2017 elections. "Front National" in power would definitely lead to a Frexit...
