Oh yeah, Brough's a genius I'm about 2 months into VESPER.5 and it's really been helping with introducing some regularity into my schedule oh btw: REIGNS is another good game |

true, how could i forget. you need a very high tolerance for ugly programmer art, but if you can get past that, the design is genius.
it's one of those games that REALLY need a higher budget remake, but the dev is working as a designer on hearthstone now afaik, so idk how likely that is.

tbh I actually am the kind of person who simply dislikes game simply for being on mobile. I've just experience so many bad games on the platform that I'm not as willing as before to try things on there.
There are plenty of gems out there if you look. Some of the best gaming experiences I've had have been mobile. To list a few: - Monument Valley - Year Walk - Device 6 - Infinity Blade - Downwell - Her Story - Kero Blaster (I actually preferred the touch controls to the PC controls) - A Dark Room - Mage Gauntlet - Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP also re: Mario Run, it's definitely a huge step up from Pokemon GO; it looks incredibly polished, and actually pretty fun. I think a lot of people tend to pile hate onto mobile arcade games, but there are some really good ones out there that don't feel totally vacuous i didn't even know her story was ON mobile, but i feel like that would detract from the feeling of logging into a police terminal that said device 6 is the best argument for mobile as a platform ever made. it's an absolutely ludicrously incredible game that could only work on mobile. i can't imagine it on any other platform. simogo are fantastic. |

anyway, this is interesting. i didn't make a connection between reigns and ck2. it seems more like a minimalistic king of dragon pass to me. but then KoDP is kinda-sorta like a smaller scale Paradox game to begin with.
