Don't seems so, because you have a lot of low level access and crypto stuff to break, something like that, I'm no expert.
BUT people have open teh chip and it's a stoke Tegra X1 with no modification, it seem that teh custom is only the OS and maintaining stable performance hitting the clock down enough. Basically a tegra don't maintain max performance in the shield which make unsuitable for games and portability. SO instead of having the chip throttle itself when heat and over problem hit, they just enforce a stable speed to have constant and predictable performance target.
It also actually have 8 A57 core, except that, like a real tegra, Only 4 are accessible at the same time (they are separated in group of hi perf and low perf) and the cpu isn't throttle so it's unlikely the the low perf core are access anyway.
Which might mean we might see emulation quite fast of the system.

What screen protectors are y'all using? I heard the one that comes with the official Switch case is Bad, the Premium Hori one doesn't work, and the tempered glass ones are melting while in dock mode.

If a tempered glass screen protector is melting, than it isn't tempered glass. The melting point of glass is way higher than what the Switch dock is able to reach. I think what some people are complaining about is the adhesive from their screen protector being affected by the heat. This is most likely because that particular screen protector is using too much adhesive, or the wrong adhesive. I've applied a tempered glass screen protector to my Switch, and haven't been having any problems. I also made sure that I didn't immediately put my Switch in the dock to recharge right after applying it, but there you go. If you order a tempered glass protector off of Amazon, they tend to be fairly reasonable in price. |

…I was thinking about the adhesive, I have no idea why I wrote like the Switch melts glass lol. You're right about screen protectors using wrong/too much adhesive, I got a glass tempered protector today and it works very well. Thanks.  |
