Fixed

That's not even counting the WII U version, there is around 20 000 more switch version than switch sold.

But let see the final number, zelda game tend to hover around a stable 4 millions in sales, except for TP who sold 7 million but across two platform (so 4 million each lol), and entries that are perceived as minor do around 1.5 millions.

It's like they have a sold and stable core.

I can guarantee that sales of Zelda will remain around the same as the Switch itself. It's one of the best games I've played in a while, and easily one of the best open-world style games ever developed. For several years, anyone who buys a Switch is also going to pick up a copy of Zelda with it. It's just that good.

I'm still playing Zelda. I bought it at launch, and have been playing it on and off for essentially a month and a half. I've beaten three divine beasts, but am still playing. Really good game.

A bit of an unfair reduction. But I understand the thrust of what you're trying to say. It would be more accurate to say that the Switch has only one exclusive great game.

The Switch has several very good games available digitally. But as is so often the case with digital indie releases, none of them are exclusive. 1-2-Switch is a good game, but it is very limited in its appeal. It is designed from the ground up to be multiplayer-only. It doesn't really have a single-player mode, so you can't really play it without someone else around. So yes, I'd say it has one great game at the moment.

It is managing to ride on this one great game because that game is really great, and really long. I bought a Switch at launch. I am still playing Zelda. Haven't finished my first run-through yet.

Let's hope the next Mario will be the Breath of The Wild of Marios.

I'm honestly waiting for the update where the power goes into a sensible place so you can actually have it standing up with the A/C chord in.

Thumper is good. Shovel Knight is good. Mario Kart is good - I mean even people I've talked to not expecting to like it reckon it's pretty solid and they found themselves reenacting those shitty Nintendo adverts with strangers.

It's just going to take a while. There's going to be a hardware update obviously because that's what Ninty does for handhelds every year. So probably best to wait a bit and get the next iteration.

those were called a ps Vita and 3ds and they sucked and zelda games sucked back then
and what if there is a theoretical person who is not interested in a new zelda game?

What constitutes a "Zelda game" then?  Puzzle elements, dungeon specific items?
