I've used:
itch.io

Notable:
steampowered.com

Haven't used:
gog.com

Uncertain:
desura.com -- I read that they weren't paying devs for almost a year. Has anyone used them recently?

What else have you bought from or sold on?

Gamejolt has started to let people offer paid games, and it even has its own client now.

Steam is the only one worth bothering with.

Thanks!

Talum, for now, maybe -- with what we know. But to give an example -- most mobile developers are making games for what, the iPhone? And Android? But in China, where those app stores aren't so easily accessible, getting signed up with WeChat or Korea, with Samsung, is the way you distribute and access massive markets.

Steam has his 100$ fee for entry.
Knowing some free ones can help, especially for small games.
