I'm looking at OpenCV to detect circular tokens inside of N playmats monitored by a webcam. I want to detect these tokens positions inside the O to get a degree around the circle and the token's position in the | relative to top or bottom.

What I think I have to do is iterate through my shapes looking for a 4 sided shape that also contains another 4 sided shape & a circle.

Is this a reasonable approach? I'm new to OpenCV so I'm still figuring out how it works.
