'coz it will help me identify which colors should I choose. So when you will play, automatically feel like playing on Sega Genesis or SNES Wink Finding color pallete on google shouldn't be hard

i dont think its relevant. old hardware color sets generally are randomly chosen by programmers who dont know color theory. Its the artist eye that makes them work.
just look at those sega games:

Sonic city zone uses amiga style opposite colors to make it look fancier. Its coloring 101 and its pretty independent from color palette.

The Mega Drive has a 9-bit RGB palette, but I know the artists haven't made any special effort to conform to that gamut. You can't really distinguish hardware by sight when you've got that many colors to work with.

The MegaDrive uses a 9-bit color palette. However, of those 512 colors you can only use 61* at the same time ( without using trickery ). This is because the CRAM ( color RAM ) only has space for 4 palettes of 16 colors each ( 15 visible colors + 1 masked entry ). Moreover, each tile ( 8x8 pixels ) or sprite ( up to 32x32 pixels ) can only use a single palette at the time.

*4 palettes containing 15 visible colors + 1 background color = 61 in total Smiley

As a example, here are the palettes during Emerald Hill Zone ( and what they are primarily used for ).
