I think it's cause you missed the deadline -- not sure though. I also don't think there's actually a cockpit in your game. The idea of the contest is to look out of a cockpit, whereas your game is third-person view, not first-person view.

Well...I'm not really sure about what to say about this compo... I'm pretty pleased about some of the results( YAY SCFF got into the Top 10! :D ), a bit surprised by some others( Hard Aether ended up *there*?), and a bit saddened by others( Mystic Pony deserved better than this!). But still; good competition, and well done, everybody!

BUT THE DIFFERENCE... IT LIED WITH YOU! Yup, Bravo folks! That's a pretty nice top-ten. Though, really, you're all awesome just for making a damn cockpit game. Things are tricky.

a bit surprised by some others(Hard Aether ended up *there*?) Me too. I would have expected it to do much better. And I feel guilty for it. Because I didn't get it to run. And didn't have the time to help Nihilocrat debug the problem. And so couldn't vote for it in good conscience. Anyway, congratulations to those in the top places! In fact I'm quite happy and proud that I made 6th place with Vessel-IV (yes technically seventh but sixth sounds much better doesn't it), wouldn't have expected that. Thanks to everyone who voted for me! 'twas a good compo, I say; we saw many interesting (and often beautiful) experiments with 3d, which I think is definitely underdeveloped in this community. Let's hope this spawns some interesting 3d games in the future! I also hope that there will be recaps of the compo in the usual Internet media outlets (the demakes compo was pretty awesome in that regard).

Yes, congratulations to everyone! Some really excellent games came up in this competition, as usual. And all of my choices (With the exception of Wagon Game ) made it into the Top 10! Does that make me Mainstream? Anyway, well done to Crackerblocks, for creating an internet phenomenon! a bit surprised by some others(Hard Aether ended up *there*?) Me too. I would have expected it to do much better. And I feel guilty for it. Because I didn't get it to run. And didn't have the time to help Nihilocrat debug the problem. And so couldn't vote for it in good conscience. Yeah, I feel bad because I couldn't get it to run either. Worse, even, because I didn't even report my problem (Though I think it was the same as Muku's).

Enviro-Bear is a great game! Congratulations to Crackerblocks and the rest of the top rankers! I believe that the list should actually be ranked like this, by the way: THE RANKED LIST:1. agj, your version is more accurate, but my version probably makes people feel better Still, that list is the way to go if there's a frontpage article about the results of this compo. (Except I'll be just short of Top 10 )
