The first impression of your game is: "i have seen those assets before, someone was too lazy to create original artwork for his/her first game".

Even if your gameplay is better than all other games which use the same assets, you'll always be in a defensive situation, you have to explain why, like in your Kickstarter description

What's the story of your game? An alien visits Earth and runs through a forest, ice, desert world? As you have "Alien" in the title i'd love to see alien worlds instead. In my eyes ibb & obb is a great example for a nice, unusual world with a relatively simple artstyle.
