Not sure how many of you are aware of this, but a recent exploit was found that enables you to turn any Vita on firmware 3.60 or below into a homebrew machine with the click of a single button (http://henkaku.xyz for more info). Fortunately, no piracy is possible yet. However, pretty much the only notable projects right now are a bunch of emulators, ports, and a very early Moonlight client.

Personally, I've always wanted to develop for the Vita. So I've taken advantage of this to start playing around with a little homebrew game of my own. It isn't anything groundbreaking, but it is a native Vita game with it's own bubble on the homescreen an everything! Tongue So far, the process has been surprisingly entertaining and painless (except for the lack of a debugger and any way to read core dumps).

So yeah, just putting this news out there in case there's anyone else who's been dying to create a game for the Playstation Vita (or port an existing one).
