logitech 518 is the best wired palm mouse
the g5 and g500 are also good for palm grippers

this is what I'm using right now, and I must say it sucks if you don't have small hands, when you are tired and want to rest all your hand on it.

Also: my grip is: yourmom grip

Would be cool to do emulator-like state saving with the original hardware.

I took the cartridge connector from an old super gameboy, so I still have all the rest of that. The ram chips (2 of them) look they would be easy too connect to and dump/rewrite. Of course the big issue would be dumping/restoring the registers in the cpu (you would need to send a series of write commands to each register, and send a jump instruction to write the PC register) Who knows, sometime I might rig a SGB to actually do that. Not tonight though. Tonight I'm doing art homework  Cry

You could breed the arduino with a game genie, actually this is an amazing idea and now I am going to do it for my Super Nintendo. Thanks for the inspiration.

Because adults tried to force us to enjoy typing games as children and we resent them for it.

Wooo the more I learn about the wii U the more I understand what nintendo is doing ... but now they had social nagging too!

So they have a social network that is FREE from any device entirely dedicated for games, they have spectacular video streaming, they have an "open ID", they allow people to deploy their network in their network "yo dawg", they have yet another universal controller (can replace tv remote, control american VOD device, act as a keyboard, a mice, a no latency tv, a screen pad, a UFC reader, motion control, videoconferance, hardcore pad, you name it!). It is also basically 3 machine duck tape (1 ram beefed xbox, 1 network PC, 1 handheld, they all have their own ram).

Yep it's like they are position to parry blows from any side when video games will evolve into something unheard of, you feel the heat from facebook, ipad mini, onlive, zynga, etc...

Why do we hate QTEs again?

FMV games in the 90's. That's my reason, anyway. >_>

Why do we hate QTEs again?

It's a way for a game to make you do something in the simplest and most shallow terms that it otherwise wouldn't have been able to do.  It's an outright confession of dissatisfaction with what your character can do with your abilities in the game.  It's a brutally lazy way to figure out how to do that.  How do we make the player make Bayonetta grab and angel and surf on him?

Okay, well, we spent the WHOLE GAME SO FAR, teaching the player how to control her.  Is there some way we can introduce this scenario in a context where they would be able to fannagle the current abilities at their disposal to work this scenario into the situation we have in mind for the cutscene.  Or maybe we just don't need to force the player into these gimmicky moments when the stuff we have the player doing is rock solid.

Nope, just press A.

Oops, you missed.  Bronze statue.  Eat a dick.

Figure out a way to let me do cool things in your games without it being fake.  It's especially dumb in situations like Bayonetta where you already HAVE.

ah that is a QTE (I fought it had something to do with quicktime movies  Facepalm)
yeah I suddenly remebemr rockstar's Bully on my wii, boy some stupied QTE moments in that.

even because it wasn't totally clear how I should rotate and how quick and etc. and failed continuously at somethng that should be as easy as: press this button very fast repeatitively (wich is boring anyway)

OK, am I just stupid?

I just joined reddit--friends are saying I'd love it.  But I go to search for something, and there is no button to execute the search!

I am surfing w/ a ps3 ... but I even tried going to the mobile site ... same confusion.

There's no enter button on the PS3/your phone's keyboard?
