yeah I grabbed it. it's a large improvement, the editor in past builds has been very sluggish. it's now very responsive and loads quick. that's a fix I didn't expect, and it's more than welcome. haven't tried out everything yet, but it also has linux support finally. and managing assets is much easier and more organized now.

Dunno. For some reason, thought their web player was.

It is possible (though optional) to program it in Javascript

I think I figured out the Mario series.
The Mario Brothers' parents are the protagonist and damsel-in-distress from Donkey Kong, Jumpman and Pauline. The family's collective last name is Jumpman. Mario and Luigi Jumpman.
Luigi has self-image problems in part because his older brother has always resembled their father more, which has strained Luigi and Jumpman Sr.'s relationship.

Nintendo has never revealed Mario's full name, stating only that it was not "Mario Mario" despite the implication of the Mario Bros. series' title, its use in the live-action film adaptation, and information given in the Prima official Guidebook to Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.[16]

So Pauline had children with a hero that would later on go on to save more maidens? History repeating, my friends.

If so, I hope Mario doesn't have to save Peach again. If he managed to lose her up until his old age....
On the other hand, this could be a good idea for a realistic platformer. Mario can only jump three pixels high. Luigi needs a crutch.

So until some time on Tuesday, Machinarium is on sale for 7 USD on PSN for Playstation Plus members (of which I am one) and I wanted to know if there were any issues that would mean I shouldn't get it on there (aside from the obvious part where I could probably get it for nearly free off an HIB sale).
Things like being a bad port or having control issues or the developers losing a significant chunk of potential money if I buy it there instead of online.

so, guys, is the game "towns" good if you're generally partial to city builders? from what im gathering its kinda similar to dwarf fortress i guess? http://www.townsgame.com/It's somewhere between Majesty and Dwarf Fortress. It's also quite a bit unfinished, with pretty bad balance issues and a fairly bad UI.

Might not be a bad thing in terms of health concerns... But that sucks for people who like Twinkies
