Wii U final specs has been unveil, It's a 3 core WII cpu ... Okay now the wii U is like 6 GameCube duct tapes but with a GPGPU apparently ...  Durr...?
Do you have a source? Not being snarky or fanboyish, I legitimately am interested in reading what the specs are, and google isn't showing me any info that wasn't available weeks ago
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-what-is-inside-the-wii-u
The cpu design is 15 years old literaly
However it has to be seen how the quirk of the architecture and the bandwidth with the GPGPU allow for some twist.
The cpu is the weak point right now.

DID SOMEONE try to go on a web service hosting unity3D game with the wii? they have strike a deal with unity!

Also WHo as seen the raspberry pi look like a cool machine, the power of the xbox 1 with the feature of today for a ridiculous price and power consumption, wind waker would run on this!

Hmm, I need help selecting a keyboard model for a mac computer.
I don't want that super slim mac keyboard because they are really inconvenient to type with.

Is there any other mac compatible keyboard?

You can always use a standard Windows-style keyboard with Mac. It will feel weird in the beginning (especially because the @ sign is mapped in another place than on the keyboard itself), but it works like a charm when you get used to it.

No. I wish I did. ;_; Or maybe not. I tend to go... game crazy with portable gaming devices.

@Gimmy TILBERT: Thanks for the reply
However (I am trying my hardest to not sound like a fanboy here) All that information was available months ago, and still is only a guess at what the cpu is based on pictures, the console was not available when that ask Iwata came out...
I have no doubt that the Wii U CPU is weak compared to the GPU, but I will reserve final judgement till I see real specs like clocks and such. Although the article is right about the chip being a Power, that is confirmed by Nintendo itself.

No, I don't have any more info, but I am just saying that info has been around for a while and doesn't really say anything about the actual speed

Apparently it has been covered here
http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/180604/Hey_lil_mama_What_was_Boyfriend_Maker.php
It seems it's derived from the chatterbot simisimi and pull data from there (player can teach simisimi answer to phrase).

However the appeal of the game seems to be about "finding" the pearl out of the system. Basically it's broken and this is the fun, abusing the system.

You can probably get the same outcome by using Cleverbot. It looks like the software that runs the AI is probably really similar.

The "advantage" of boyfriend maker is probably that it has a narrow theme compared to Cleverbot, so it's a lot easier to predict what kinds of questions and conversations are common and then intentionally manipulate the bot to give responses to those questions and conversations.

Picked up a 660 Ti on Cyber Monday, just waiting for it to be shipped. How are you finding it in terms of performance.

If anyone is interested in Arduino or anything, I just made this for a CS project at school. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvMnTXWDn0s&feature=youtu.be

And I am also interested in how the TI performs, I'm pretty due for an upgrade

Yeah I'm pretty excited about it, I got it for $240 on the deal which is about 60 off I think. Also I got Assassins Creed 3 for free. Not that I really care that much about it.

I also decided that with the new rig I'm putting together, I'm going to have a few free 5.25" slots free and I think I'm going to try to stuff a wii into one of them. My plan right now is to rip out the optical drive and load the wii games directly from a 2.5" HDD in place of the disk drive. Then move to gamecube controller ports to the front along with the memory card slots. Mount the whole deal in an easily removable 5.25" housing. Power it through a 12V molex connector from the PC's power supply and then run component to a PCI backplate for output. This should give me access to Wii, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES and a few others through ISO loading/virtual console/emulators. Right now I'm just looking for a cheap Wii to buy and a hard drive.
