I may work and create an anime for a youtube wich big views number (not pewdiepie , dont get crazy )

My problem is
I dont know how much youtube earnings views per video works

I dont expect much on potential views but i dont want to get screwed if it get big

Is there a simple link , something trustful , video or webpage , simple reading wich explains youtube earnings ? if you are both , how both can earn on a single video , the earnings come everymonth or one time for once ? etc

It keeps changing everytimes, also most people moved to patreon to cultivate a dedicated fanbase that pay for contents.

Now big youtuber have enough tractions to survive changes and fluctuations, though they are not immune, currently it seems they have shift some metrics to engagement (aka number of likes and comments) so there was a bit of disgruntlement. SO it's not just about the views, there is many parameters, it's ads money so ads friendly stuff get monetize more.

An easy way to grow fanbase is to do works that existing fanbase will like and cross pollinate with your works, some people abuse this for promotion. Also you need to have workflow to have a content threadmill for regular release and adapting to news events, and expect building a community on scale like 6 to 1 years to have around 1000 followers and around 100 views per weeks ... having unique perspective is a plus depending on how you present them (generally it's good to make people feel good for themselves) so even though you don't want to attract much attention to your origin it might be your best card if played well, there is still a novelty appeal with black african game you might want to surf on, look at these guys, they have hustle their way, they had something and they played their card very well:
