To be frank even if the team was entirely black, if the one deciding are not diverse enough, all these black will spend time making white character with bad black character and not be seen in video discussing the design of the game. We tried to abolish that once.
Yeah they will be , that's what i do when i work on others team and studios but if you have more
power inside a company , you can overule the decisions by putting a black character instead of the regular white designed by the whites .
I worked on a video game for French company Akata at some point in 2014 , i created all graphics and all animations , but the heroes were regular white caucasian characters ,unfortunetly before finishing the game , they canceled it out of nowhere , but if it was not canceled and all , maybe my next project with them, they would have let me draw black characters . But that hypotheticaly. Maybe they would have refused.
