Hi Everyone,



I'd like to present to you my current project - Space Toads Mayhem, being developed with Unity. It's a very retro-inspired topdown shooter, and based on the current feedback I've got, it seems to be capturing the 8-bit / 16-bit arcadeish vibes quite well Smiley The game will offer both hardcore survival mode, as well as standard campaign with different levels to beat (starting easy and getting incrementally more difficult)

I'll be posting updates here, but also check the game's Twitter and Facebook pages - where I post gameplay videos, screenshots, and also some mechanics info etc

Feedback, love & sharing of above mentioned Facebook & Twitter pages most welcome  Grin

Just added a new powerup: Mega Death Sun Smiley

It murders everything around, specifically targeting enemies that are near the player. Don't know how to embed the video here, so I'm posting a link to our Twitter post:

A weighted random drop system with a twist is being implemented. As the game's difficulty gradually increases, awesome power-ups become rare for added punishment Smiley

Emotional states of a Common Space Toad  Grin

Would you rather see more behaviour patterns so there is a little extra depth to the enemy, or do you think it's better to have more actual enemy types?
