the story of the worms franchise for the past 10+ years is everybody who wants to buy the games saying "hey remember worms armageddon? remember worms armageddon? just fuckin... just make that" and team 17 holds up their ear horn and says what's that sonny? you want us to make crap?

IMO: Worms4: Mayhem were quite decent. Though Armageddon/World party were better.
Haven't played new one - also wanna know if it's any good.

Worms amagetron has indeed a rather good game. It had a worm with a gun in it. this is good because a worm can not get a legal gun permit in "real life". THAT is exactly the kindof absurdist spark that game's need to move forwarned as a medium.

The only reason My friends and I never buy any Worms game is because a new one is out every few years with different gimmicks and wildly swings in quality and we just want a basic-as-shit Worms game without DLC or 100 wacky game modes
