I think slower might be your friend here, if you are moving slowly its a lot easier to pull off the timing correctly and less frustrating, you can then very easily add harder difficulties to levels for an extra challenge for pros who want the hardcore experience by giving them fast motion. But put it in front of some people you are watching play and see what they do to get the feel exactly right.

Just did a big update to the level flow. Trying to do level design while teaching the player the finer aspects of the mechanic. I just set this up with the amount of possible lives and haven't tested it enough to beat the 11 levels yet, so you could be the first one on this build. https://eddygames.itch.io/hippy-skate

Thanks, if you give the new build a try, it's a little more in line with build of difficulty but there'll be even more tween levels. Let me know if that makes a difference

Just updated the game with now 30 levels. Also added a new feature. the space bar which is used to push when tapping, now will slow you to a stop when you hold down. This feature's really helpful when trying to get cubes on certain levels. Red cubes are kick flip cubes. Looking for feedback from players on which levels they find fun.

I've began to really get into some of the art assets. It's still fairly experimental and a lot of the levels aren't correctly lit but it's given me a pretty clear idea of what direction things will go.

I've decided to try and submit my game to Steam for feedback. My game is intended for mobile but is still a fun quick game on computer. Hoping to get some support if you can http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=907167069

I created a video where I talk about the game mechanics and how to play the game. Wanted to post here for players who are struggling with the difficult levels.

Thanks! I don't have plans to release on Mobile soon but if you want I can add you to my tester list and I'll send you a build. Just need to know your email and type of device Android/ios?

For now I'm releasing beta versions on flash gaming sites to get data and try to make the game the best I can. I still have a lot of work to do it terms of balancing the level difficulty so it ramps up in way that allows the players to learn the feel before they reach a difficult level.

is it possible the game is frame rate dependent? it seemed way too fast for me (unrealistic gravity).

The game shouldn't build with frame rate problems.  Can you watch this video and tell me is the speed feels the same for your machine?
