changed chest gem added gem to wrist BTW the gem on his chest is a pocket-dimension storage portal. Basically stuff will get sucked into his chest and can be accessed later.

slightly better now. Maybe the darker highlights needs to be made darker? also, how about darkening the area where the shoulders meets the neck? at first look they just look like shadows. And I still can't shake off the feeling that I saw this guy in Cho Aniki. Not that i played Cho Aniki.... by the way, the electric effect is positively bitching. will be looking forward to any further iterations from you.

Yeah the dark patterns definitely help, especially on the limbs.
Maybe some light accents could help too?
I still can't shake the idea that the enemies look like they've got more character - no, not character, more...notable design than the main character himself.
But...I guess there's only so much you can do with a...buff naked dude.

Myabe his skin should look like he has his muscle tissue exposed, keeping the color scheme (so the white tissue I forgot what exactly is could be dark red)

a more simplified tattoo design @Abraham Jones: that sounds difficult to animate...

The animations are cool, but you have way too much foot slide on the jab.

A swift kick to the rocks! Obviously the enemy is just placeholder art, just use your imagination kids! heres a concept design for an Empirium Trooper So my idea for the story is the hero wanders into a conflict between the Imperium (human) and the Caecorum (alien). They are both fighting for control over a small planet called Sala. The Imperium aims to colonize and exploit its resources, the Caecorum wish to take control of mysterious ancient artifacts scattered throughout the planet. Caught in the middle is the indeginous Sala people. Who is the real enemy? What dangers lurk ahead? Why doesn't our hero wear pants? Stay tuned and find out!

Replace his stomach with a ying-yang-ball and make the generic enemies Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Zangief, etc...

I hope you don't mind me butting in. I spent a little time noodling the cardinal because i like it but i feel he needs some spice. i went for the birdman approach. i really like what yer doin though. The animations look cool and the emperium trooper is great.
