Babylon 5 is the official TIGS scifi series

This is canon.  The only thing up for debate is who was better; Sheridan or Sinclair.

Michael O'Hare's (Sinclair) story is heartbreaking.

Jerry Doyle was the best. Boxleitner was too formulaic, he came across a bit camp. Doyle stole nearly every scene he was in, him playing off opposite Katsulas and Jurasik was fantastic.

Sheridan is fun and interesting but the show never capitalizes on the fun and interesting things about him; specifically the little bits that hint that his entire life had been leading up to being "the best dang human ever"

I want to officially state that Capntastic has not discussed this policy with any other forum staff and I have never seen a Babbylon Five. As such, I have to strongly distance myself from this policy and cannot endorse it as an official TIGSource forums policy.

Thank you for your time and attention,

Revisiting Space: Above and Beyond, which was on TV when I was ~9 years old and which I remembered as really cool and engaging at the time, was an extremely jarring experience

One time I was drunk and flipping channels and I think I saw an episode of it, I distinctly remember the Dark-Haired-Donald-Trump-Caught-In-A-Wind-Tunnel guy but that is about all I remember.

The bolding of one of the names is a blatant bias display, a dark pattern that potentially influences users to vote towards Sheridan. As such, I question the debate's integrity.

If you mean this stooge:

Their entire plotline is garbage but the saving grace is that the stooge eventually digivolved into better roles:

Fringe tripped and fell down around season 3 or 4 and got really goofed out huffing its own metaplot, did it ever recover?

4 was where, probably, as 3 is some of the best genre television ever made. 4 is okay enough (and has some stellar one-offs) but is pretty trippy fally in comparison. imo yeah, though; i liked the last season well enough and it finished strong and tied things together nicely but not too neatly.

still doesn't have the powerhouse ending angel does. i'm rewatching angel and i still can't believe the last season is as good as it is

edit: 4's huge problem was it had an insanely phenomenal concept that, to work, had to suck the air out of everything and full reset back to season one. i liked a lot of what it did to do that, and its most interesting stuff is where it interacts with season one moments in a new way to create really cool subversions. but its core flaw is that by resetting to season one we lose the character momentum that built up with everyone who isn't peter. it also has a shitty finale compared to every other season

edit again: fringe is still my favorite show, though. i love that world, those characters, the writing, and the acting so much. it's the best jj abrams related anything ever, nothing else he's touched comes close

Yus, I loved Babylon 5!

Except the first and last seasons which were a draaaaaaag. So it's a difficult one to recommend, because of the first one being so terrible that most people would give up.

Red Dwarf is also the best. And SG-1 <3
