Hey everyone!  I'm experimenting with trying to incentivize free/libre content by creating a monthly $100 micro grant.


Have some assets that you haven't released and want to give them to the public?  Want an excuse to create some assets for that upcoming Game Jame?  Just feel like contributing back to the community?  Feel free to check it out or apply!

Feel free to ask any questions, too!

@surt, thanks, I should have thought of that.  I just posted to OGA.

@quantumpotato, OGA stands for OpenGameArt.org.  It's a site that specializes in free/libre game assets (2D, 3D, music, etc.).  There are some real gems there (surt is also one of the more talented and prolific contributors there).

The first microgrant has been dispersed!  Congratulations to @Maruki who has been active right here with Aftertile.

I encourage everyone who has an interest to apply (or apply again) and tell anyone else who might be interested.

I've updated the $100 micro grant with this months dispersal information and created an email subscription list for anyone interested in updates.

Feedback is always welcome!
