Hello everyone,

I'm working on a project called 'Cavegame'. The goal is to recreate the early alpha atmosphere of 'Minecraft' and expand it in proper way, make it better. About all this aspects you can read my devblog: http://cavegame.tumblr.com/post/150204378267/explanation-about-project-future

Also you can check out live streaming development on Twitch: http://twitch.tv/p01n7z3r0

For now, we created simple creative mode based on 0.13a version, check this out: http://cavegame.tumblr.com/post/150598720552/update-v013a

And now I want to know your opinion on this project.

Thank you!   Wink

I don't know which version of Minecraft I played back in the day probably some beta version of it but this does remind me of it somewhat.

I'm not sure what to say about the game's sate at this point really. It works, the blocks destruct when I click them and build where I want them to. The player runs a little fast and my mouse seems overtly sensitive.

I guess I just don't get the point. Why make another identical version of Minecraft?

Hello! Thanks for response.

I know that it's hard to say anything about game state atm. Fast run and high sensitive is in debug case. The point is not creating 'another identical version', because we can't make it, the original game is closed source, but we want to recreate the feel of old darkest alpha atmosphere. The game afterwards will be another, we pointing to recreate the basic game, but make it more extended, featured and better. You can read my blog post about why i desired to create this.

Also, today I'm planning to release next version and maybe version for Mac too!
