I'm having a hard time thinking of any modern media that has a German person in it that don't casually pretend that Germans are all cursed to be 4% Nazi until the end of time, so maybe Germans are the real victims here

unfortunately tho, neo nazis arent so easy to spot these days. a lot of them have basically abandoned the skinhead culture and dont wear any visible subcultural markers at all.

I agree; I am likewise astounded at RJ's cogent understanding that media is a foundational unit of cultural exchange, that videogames are one of the largest forms of entertainment media, and that more responsible media, at scale, has an astounding effect on the world we live in.

The whole "I don't care about ____" flag people throw is great because not only is it not an argument against people that do "care about ____", but it's an absolute admission that the person concedes all right to be taken seriously on the subject.
Though I'm legitimately curious about what you mean by "I don't care about morality when it comes to art", because that's a statement with all sorts of interpretations. Like the easiest takeaway to pick out is "I don't think art should concern itself with making moral statements" which is easy to write off as a screech of too-cool-to-care apathy. Could you go into more detail to unpack that phrase?
