Games as arts/arts as games is an annual festival organised by The MetaMakers Institute of Falmouth University at the crossroads of games and art. With these series of exhibitions and the associated programme, we intend to contribute to the discussion about games as art forms. Our aim is to bring the discussion forward and beyond academia, opening it up to the general public. This year’s edition will take place from the 12th to the 22nd of October 2016 at the Poly in Falmouth.

This event is free and open to the public. It is game related and pretty cool, if I do say so myself. There are a load of exhibitions, including the physical model from the game Lumino City. There is also a few talks from developers on the opening night of the exhibiton, as well as an assoscated unconference and a game jam.

More info on speakers, exhibitons, ect. can be found here - http://metamakersinstitute.com/gamesasarts/.
