luvcraft: Yeah, I would have loved that back in the days. We were building pinball machines out of LEGO and drawing them on paper during class. I might never have started programming at all if I could have built them in some convenient application... Nowadays I wouldn't have the patience and tolerance required to sit down with a "quirky" editor and make random pinball tables. I would be much more inclined to attack the technical challenges associated with it and make my own simulator and editor (then probably abandon it, of course).
Actually I remember one conversation which I had with a friend in 5th grade or something, where we approached the hypothetical choice of either building a pinball machine or making a computer game (given the necessary guidance). I chose computer game since then I knew I could technically make a virtual pinball game if I wanted to (but it was implied that the desired game to make was something like Metroid).

You guys are very prolific and all those games look like I could have fun playing them. All my unfinished projects are now on long time defunct computers (oric, amiga) and i have no way to revive pics. I have not made a lot of games during my PC period, except for a few mods, I am just now starting again.
Anyway, as someone suggested, there should be an official TIGS unfinished projects zip.

Because its becoming a hot trend, and its a great way for those of us that like to start and never finish random crap to show our failures to the world, here's mine: Small and Large versions.

:D I could if I was less lazy about the layout and I didn't have a strange love for off resolutions. Also could have done it if I found screens of 5-10 projects I couldn't track down . That lower right corner is mighty empty.

Hi! This is my first post here. This is one of my many unfinished software. It's some kind of proof of concept for a gameplay idea I got. But to be honest it turns out it isn't that much fun to play! It's writen in OpenGL on the OpenGLUT framework with SDL for image files reading. It's called K-stet which sound like "casse-tĂȘte". A french expression that could be translated as puzzle. lastest version win32 binary and source code

Holy shit man your pixels are awesome.
You should give us some playable builds of your nicest stuff. They look quite sexy indeed.

Sorry - I tried to play it, but apparently it needs a pixel shader capable graphics card

Yeah it does, but I can update it so it'll turn off the effects if your card doesn't have them.
EDIT: Done.

You know what would be awesome? a warioware-like game made out of all the uncompleted projects in this thread. ..but yes, I know it would be impossible due to coding hell.

VectorTank: OK, its time to post one of my first Projects. This is the second of all my Programming Projects, and it is done with Blitz Basic. It was never completed, but ist ist fully playable. It was a new idea of implementing a Tank movemant. I have to say one is controlled with mouse the other with Keyborad. http://krux.kilu.de/Vektorgame.zip I have to say, that this Project is now more than 3 years old, and i have nothing changed yet, all my time is gone in learning C++ Edit: One Project from the same time http://krux.kilu.de/Helicopter.zip
