Yeah, apparently they accidentally made some videos un-private for a couple of hours last night. According to people who watched it, they showed off:

- Revamped Drag 'n Drop
- New pixel editor
- Tileset editor
- A completely redone and actually functional room editor

I'm mostly excited for that last one if you can't tell ;P

Haha ok! Yeah that old room editor sure sucked. I wrote a custom level editor for the simplest game just because the room editor was so badly desined.

Just saw the video, I'm impressed actually, so many improvements included that you kinda forget Game Maker lacked if you'd used it for a long time. Glad to see there's tabbed views for code editing now, much better for working across multiple events at once.

It says there's going to be an OS X IDE, it's just coming later (Q2 2017 for the Mac beta, Q3 for the official release).

I don't really mind them collecting data in the IDE but feeling a bit iffy about the fact they'll be collecting data on your potential end users if you're a dev...
