Amazing artwork! The setting sounds pretty interesting - what kind of magic are we talking about here? Stuff like: living skeletons, mermaids, etc.?

Hope to learn more about the game world soon. Godspeed!  Smiley

Reminds me of Monkey Island, which is good because those games are awesome.

Looking forward to seeing the game in motion, I'm curious to see how the animations will look like in this art style.

Nice work so far!  Wink Hand Thumbs Up Right

@Tyro
I'm a fan of low fantasy and more "realistic" approach if we talk about magic in RPG's, for example,
but since this is an epic adventure with more cliché style and humor, everything will be possible. You'll see a glimpse of it on 20th november since I plan to release the prologue on this day. Hopefully. Cause there is still a ton of work Smiley  Toast Left

here is a glimpse of what the artwork (work in progress) looks like before stylizing (cutting the palette down)

@Davi Vasc
Yeah I fear that with that approach to the style (palette cut down) everything should be moving around at least slightly (the lights), else it would look really un-natural
I develop the game in Adventure Game Studio at the moment, and one way to achieve it will be animated backgrounds, but it would weight more (game is high-res), compared to only small objects moving around (like light, with transparency) as I have it right now. Combination of both will hopefully make the levels more vivid and fun!
