I just found out about this guy a few weeks ago. Really like what hes saying. Though Im not a citizen of the US, I still think he should be ellected.
And the media seems to hate this guy. I mean, theres nothing wrong with him. Hes never said anything wrong, and the media will go so far as to not even count him as a part of the poles.
If youre in the US, please vote for this man.

Some people don't know how to argue nice. You all suck as people in my book now. I'm kind of extremely impressed that capntastic hasn't spewed any profanities or insults back. Personally I find it very difficult to not get mad when everyone starts slandering me.  I kind of miss paul eres too. His calm way of disagreeing with everyone on at least one point would make this a bit more entertaining. At least Silbereisen is here. |

I disagree. But then again, I'm a bit of a libertarian. and... I do value maturity over intelligence. whatevs. i'm out. EDIT: How is that a fallacy? I don't think you guys even know what fallacies are... I ask again, please point out one fallacy I made. |

Capntastic, you made a claim that I made tons of fallacies, but you don't seem to even know what fallacies are. Some of you said I am dumb, but you seem to be the real dumb one. Making long posts and putting words into my mouth, saying I made claims which I didn't and then prove I am wrong based on the claims I didn't made.
You are the one making tons of fallacies, and you can't even point out one fallacy I made.

I do have compassion. I just find it more honest to care about those who care about me.
Nobody care about everyone equally. People saying they care about the world, and supposingly care about everybody, are not honest with themsevles. They obviously care about some people over others. And if you do care about some people over others, why is it wrong for me to not care about everyone or the world?

As someone has told me, being social liberal doesn't directly has to do with the economy. I can't tell you what is the PURPOSE of things in this life, but one of the GOALS of the economy is to make the country more competitive, and in simple words, become richer and richer, compared to other countries and compared to itself. (My coworker at MS always complained that he doesn't get to see his baby enough) |

I'm for Johnson. Honestly, I would rather the Usa have no plan then Obama's plan. I am not saying he is a horrible person, but just that he is leading our country in the wrong direction. For example, Obamacare will force people against abortion to provide morning/week after pills to their employees. This infringes upon the bill of rights. The Catholic Church as well as about 17 businesses (including the one my Dad works for)are suing the government. The whole idea of free markets is, you exchange goods and services for a currency, and you exchange that currency for goods and services. Society doesn't need to do anything about people who don't contribute, because everyone has an incentive to contribute, and if they don't, it doesn't negatively impact anyone else. |

So all the economists/philosophers that believe taxation is theft, guys that have light-years more relevant knowledge than you, have immature positions? What they preach is "cartoon"...? (what does that even mean?) So if Walters Williams or Ron Paul started posting in this thread you would just ignore their arguments? A person who objects to government roads but uses government roads isn't a hypocrite, he's making the best of his situation. There's no better choice. There are no other roads to drive on. A more extreme example would be those in a Nazi concentration camp: they're not hypocrites for eating the food provided to them by the government. There's no better choice. |
