Breaking Fast - Mario Kart meets breakfast food in delicious 2d environments.
Well it certainly makes me want to ask a few more questions  Wink

Haha that's what I wanted Tongue. (You can take a look at the devlog here that we just started).

Smalltalk - multitasking in minigames and being socially awkward at a jazzy party
Really intriguing to me, especially the last part...

Seems legit. Forests are great symbols of mystery and adventure.  Do you have a mockup?

I personally wouldnt want to put down your combat because then you might loose your fans interested in crpg combat games.

fuck em

it'll have combat, but the intent is for the game to have a much bigger focus on like, roleplaying. that's a thing in RPGs right?

it also never made sense to me how throwing a fireball at a bandit should do 5hp of damage instead of leaving them with crippling 2nd and 3rd degree burns at the area of the strike and probably also setting their clothes on fire. which is going to be a part of why combat isn't such a focus, because fights would usually be over rather quickly, and most bandits would be smart enough to just slice your party's throats while they foolishly sleep out under the stars

This sounds like a cool game! But I got none of this from your game pitch. Character ! Add as much character to your game pitch as you did with this explanation

How about,

Zenith: CRPG that makes the player feel like an active part of a living world.

I still prefer the first one. It spoke more objectively about what's the game like.
Imho, saying "make the player feels X" is too vague and can mean very different things to different people, it also doesn't cover the selling point of the game. People could still expect a conventional battle crpg out of this pitch.
