Drone miners is a turn based strategy game with has the following features

- procedurally generated maps and biomes
- skirmish mode against AI
- lan and multi coming but disabled for this build
- Mine tiles and maps in order to generate resources
- build carriers to move across gaps and get a jump on your opponent
- destroy hills in order to proceed

Would love to get everyone's opinions on if this is a project worth developing more

In the future my additions will be

- a story mode linking all these maps together
- more variety of factions and units
- more randomisation to the maps and biomes
- player profiles

I have tried it in the single player vs IA and the two games have the same problem. As soon as an enemy gets close to one of my units to attack the game stops and nothing happens. I can move the screen and select units but the game is stuck in the enemy's combat phase.

Anyway, the game system seems funny to me (the tiny part I could try) and the visual aspect good enough. I think you must try a less saturated color for the ground tiles to make the units and resources more visible and the general visual aspect less aggressive to the eyes.

The Framerate is very unstable sometimes but I tried it on a low-medium spec laptop so maybe it’s normal.

If you need more info about the problem I mentioned just ask me.
