Game is out now!
You can play it online.

Hi all!
So I am working on a game right now which is going to be a point and click game.
You have to solve some riddles and I have to think how difficult or easy they will be.
As for now, this is all I have worked on, just a background.
Let me know what you think! Smiley

Text dialog.

1st puzzle.

A sneak peak into the game.

This will be the title screen.

First background modified.

Second background.

Third background.

Fourth background.

Fifth background.

This was the first plan for the first background.

This will be the soundtrack for the game.

Hi G-squadron,

This is a great start but try pushing is further. Clean is a good way to go but I think some simple things can push the quality even further.

-I changed the placement of the light to allow for more interesting lighting, including the distinctive shadows. Note the angles of the shadows which keeps it super clean. This also included making it a more night time scene for the lighting to make sense.

-I made the background a more neutral colour to help with balancing.

-Added some subtle texture overlays onto the wooden obects and parts of the wall. It breaks up the surface but again, isnt too noisy.

-I added a subtle vigenette. These always make things feel nicer and can focus the eye.

What I did was fairly quick and not on every object but it shows some of the ideas that will push the overal aesthetic.

Hope this helps, keep it up!

Thanks.

Worked on bathroom image. Most probably will add two more and start the development of the game.

Didn't work those past days on the game cuz I felt my energy drained somehow.

I modified the fourth background cuz I didn't like it much. Maybe I improve it even more.
I finished the fifth and am very happy with the end result.

Also, I would call the game 20% done.
I still have to do welcome screen, UI and some other stuff.
Then I will start with the development.

I like this one a lot! The only thing that seems off to me is the one big star that looks like it's sitting on top of the railing, on the far right. Unless that's intentional, I'd maybe move that one a bit.

It is intentional! x)
Anyway, there are some items that might seem off, the only purpose is for the player to click on them as they are somewhat eye catching.
And thanks man, I liked it too, maybe it is the color combination on the image, I don't know exactly.
Sometimes graphics come out nice and I cannot explain how. Smiley

Very nice! Only thing is, there isn't any strong logo or background art that tells you a little more about the story of the game.

I was thinking of making the story in a certain sequence. Like when you press start, it will show you a certain filmstrip or something like that and then you start the game.
Or I will think of something else, maybe a better way.
