Background:
A little over a year ago, my coworker Ryan and I were discussing game development. He wanted to make a game but claimed he didn't have any ideas. Funnily enough, that statement game me an idea. In an act of what could be called mean-spirited irony, I secretly developed this ridiculous game, Ryan World. It stars that coworker as he battles myself and several others, and aims to greatly insult everybody involved with a variety of bizarre jokes.

Elsewhere and Bugg Room Productions helped with the creation of this game as well.

Story:
Someone stole Ryan's entire stockpile of spaghetti, and he's naturally very upset. Go on a warpath to get it back!

Features:
  • Action platforming with RPG elements!
  • Over 40 levels spanning across 5 worlds!
  • 10 challenging bosses!
  • Selectable difficulty level (but expect a challenge no matter what)!
  • Estimated 10 hours of gameplay!
  • Comes with useful HTML manual that's chock-full of info!
  • Lots of weird jokes, mostly about horses and spaghetti!

Screenshots:

Fight weird enemies ranging from Ninjas to Moai heads to Eldritch french fries!

Unlock loads of helpful moves as you play! This one functions like a double-jump, making it extremely useful.

Beating levels and leveling up lets you improve your stats!

The map's pretty big. Secret levels will open up if you clear everything in a world!

The bosses are also weirdos! This guy really, really likes swords.

The game's full of references to other games and stuff! These Medusa Heads are right out of Castlevania.

Controls:
Basically arrow keys+A,S,D. Read the manual for more details on the controls! Gamepads are supported!
