So I've been messing around with developing a logo for someone for a little while now, and I started to wonder if there is a design designation for this type of typographic style beyond "display". Shodo is Japanese calligraphy and seems to fit the bill, but I'm curious if it goes beyond that. Do any of you have work that has a similar style? If so, love to see examples.
