Hi, everyone,
I started this thread to get some feedback of the project i'm working on.
I always wanted to make a game just like the old school survival horror of 90's (Resident evil, alone in the dark, silent hill)
I know there is a lot of project from indies remaking old games with new graphics.
That's not my goal.

I just want to make a completely new game which recreate the feeling of the genre at the this time.  Grin

For the moment, i'm focused only in creating a prototype with the essentials aspect of the genre
  • distant fixe camera or a bit of control movement (i don't like tps camera style)
  • old school inventory where you can edit, use, examine objects
  • Zombie, ennemies AI

I'm using Unity and C#
Here some gifs of the current prototype.

Deplacement

Enemies

Inventory

Equip Weapon

Scene travel

I'm not focused on the 3d assets for the moment, so it's just a bunch of cubes...
What do you think ?
