Reverie World Studios is a well-established indie game studio with multiple successful releases on Steam, currently working on our 4th title. Upcoming game is a medieval grand strategy game for PC, to be released on Steam EA, in the Spring 2017. Reverie World employs a vast team of talented indie developers across the world through a virtual office approach.

We are looking for an experienced game developers/game scripters who`ll be responsible for creating game rules, various menus and other gameplay content by utilizing Lua scripting in our proprietary engine.

This is a paid position with an attractive hourly rate. We have a mandatory two week trial period.

Duties:
-Work from home, on your own schedule
-Explore and learn the code/script written by other developers
-Quickly learn game file structure and modified lua codding used by the proprietary engine
-Attend various meetings with producer, artists and other gameplay scripters during EST office hours
-Create GUI windows, game rules, script various game content based on development requirements
-3 month long contract with strong extension opportunities

Requirements:
-Previous professional or mod community work experience in a similar role
-Intermediate knowledge of Lua and/or other common scripting languages
-Ability to quickly learn new game engine
-Gameplay knowledge of RTS, and grand-strategy games
-Excellent written English

Preferences:
-Experience with developing RTS, RPG or grant-strategy games
