Hi,
I'm currently in the process of creating the metadata for my mobile game on itunes connect.
Long story short : There is a privacy policy field. I don't know how to write one.
I guess I need one since I have some basic tracking in my game (ie : collection of data related to the gameplay).

I've found this old post without answer : https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=46048.msg1106347#msg1106347
I've found this site that claim it can write it for me but there is a yearly subscription Sad
https://www.iubenda.com/en/privacy-policy-generator
I don't know if I can trust theme.

Do anyone has some experience in this ?

PS: please forgive my broken english, if anything isn't clear please tell me.

So it seems this thread is fated the same no response as the old topic I found.
I guess this is very specific knowledge.
If I find what to put in my privacy policy, I'll update this thread (if possible).

Hi Anton. I would recommend looking for similar games that are already on the appstore, look at their privacy policy (either through the website, or in google playstore, there's a privacy policy link on the app page) and use them as inspiration or just modify as needed. Some games have very simple privacy policy, others have more complex:

I'll list a few examples

threes (http://asherv.com/threes/privacy/)
slither.io (http://slither.io/privacy/)
agar.io (http://agar.io/privacy.txt)

Pretty sure Apple and Android have default privacy policies that it will use if you don't link/include your own.  I linked our own but recall seeing the option to use the default.

Wow I had stopped checking this forum for a while and I didn't saw your responses until now.
thanks for the help !
in the end, I asked some lawyer friend and I ended up with this :

This seems to be ok and should comply (at least in France)
