CHECK OUT THE GAME ON KICKSTARTER:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2139542651/bokube

Smiley
Bokube is a puzzle game I'm working on.
You play as a bunny cube, a "Bokube" that had his home town attacked by hungry animals. You have to solve over 40 levels to save your friends.

To win levels you have to push the colored puzzle cubes to their correct colored goals. Enemies, and traps will try to stop you. You can roll your puzzle cube over enemies to kill them, however traps will kill you and your puzzle cubes. There is some light-action/platformer stuff like hopping/jumping over traps, dodging traps or enemies, some light stealth stuff with enemies having sight bounds to avoid etc.

This is so cute and vibrant! Can't wait to try the demo Smiley  Kickstarter can be difficult but, there's never any harm in trying different things. Hand Thumbs Up Right

Your game looks interesting! The video really reminded me of something, but I can't quite remember - maybe some of the 3D SEGA puzzle-like games?

though I will admit I'm perplexed as many friends and family have hammered into me that kickstarter isn't a 100% good idea for my project's quality.
Can I ask to elaborate on this some more? Why might Kickstarter not be a good idea for your project's quality?

Sorry to hear about the stress of your day jobs - I hope you find a way to make it all work for you.

Are you on Twitter? As far as I have been told, it's important to build a following on social media before you launch a Kickstarter.

I think you should definitely go forward with a kickstarter!  Hand Thumbs Up Right Bokucube looks really fun (like a native nintendo game even). Good luck with your development!

Your game is absolutely adorable. I saw your latest developer note that mentions Kickstarter. I think if you go down the Kickstarter route you should do Steam Greenlight simultaneously. Keep at it! :]

The game looks amazing, the style and design is very coherent and unique!
Going to play the demo in a bit.

I think for kickstarter, it helps to have a built-in fanbase already, otherwise it will just get lost in the pile.
Keep putting out updates, looks like you're really far into it.

Kind of visually reminds me of Bomberman on Nintendo 64, those games were fun..

Ok just played the first 2 levels, great simple puzzle mechanic.
I did notice it tries to start up Oculus for some reason, do you have VR enabled on it?
Also there was no way to save/continue that I saw.

My only criticism at the moment is that I'd like to continue moving while I hold down the arrow key instead of repeatedly hitting it.

This looks fantastic, so much more character than typical cube-based fare. Good luck with the kickstarter!
