You decide that your first order of business is to read the PARCHMENT. It appears to be a MAP of some sort.

This looks like a TREASURE MAP. Which can mean only one thing... You quickly pull together your BOWLING BALL, your FAKE EARS, your NAILS, and your EYEPATCH to create...

Your trusty partner, VANCE! You first made him when you were but a wee lad, and the two of you have been thick as thieves ever since. You decide to go ahead and equip the TREASURE MAP and VANCE for later use.

Now, then... ADVENTURE awaits!

You open the TRAPDOOR.

It leads to below deck, where your first mate NERO has been hiding amongst your supply of GOLLYWOG FRUIT. He appears to be immersed in one of his fancy-shmancy VIDEO GAMES, and doesn't look like he's had any sleep for the last three days.
