WOW. Don't know how I'm just seeing this, but this looks great. I thought the initial movement gifs were awesome - but now seeing it with level art is even better!

How many players are you planning to support with Co-op? 2, 4 8? Also, do you have any sort of arena, pvp plans? Because it looks like you've got a great combat system in the works, and I'm sure people would enjoy fighting each other as much as they would doing the MH thing. At least, I know I would.

Uhh... The new Zelda is a huge distraction Screamy!

I've finished a new enemy and will probably build some kind of tribe with similar enemy types.
Next, i should work on some lesser, creature like enemies...

Development was going a bit slow the last few days.
I iterated a lot of different new player models and armor designs. I think i got something i like...

Also worked on the grass system for performance reasons. There is no visible difference but its runs much better Smiley.

Heyho!

I didn't post in quite some time, i guess i got a bit lazy... But that doesn't mean that i didn't get any work done!

The Enemys got simple textures now. Basic colors mostly, but still better than just black, i think!
Also, i did three new Enemy types:
The Big Yellow, a projectile shooting blue one and a small green dude.  Durr...?

I've also worked on a mesh morphing system. Now the environment can be decorated with all kind of moving stuff!
Check out the grass moving in the wind and the inflating mushrooms!  Crazy

This looks, frankly, amazing. What is the shader you use to get the rim light on the enemies?

My only complaint is that the green grass is VERY saturated, I think toning it down 10% saturation would do wonders.

I use Shaderforge to create my custom shaders and I'll try to desaturate the grass!

I keep thinking about how great this game looks! Couple things re art:

1) Have you tried less saturated backgrounds?
2) The moving during the hammer's windup makes the hammer seem lighter than I'd expect from that particular hammer.
3) I like the current art direction, but please please please keep the shiny black + white mask characters. Those are really cool.
4) Uh... please post more
