Okay so it's been a while, I've been taking a break from the game because I had to focus on getting a job ! And I found it in Paris ! Smiley Panda Panda Tiger Tiger Gomez
I spend half my time at school and half at work. It took me nearly three months to work things out but I'm starting to find my rhythm.
 
I have much less time to spend on the game now, so I'm gonna redefine my next steps :

 Pixel 31 Forget about level 9 and 10, it's not a priority.
 Pixel 11 Rework the tutorial levels, it has to be less long and way more fun so people want to try the other levels. Actually I
      think the tutorial has to be the best level.
 Pixel 0C Rework the page where we can select the level. add some sparkles and all.

I'm also thinking about starting a patreon =) It'll help me to buy softwares, unity packs and to live better.  Grin Gomez

Okay so I'm working on the level where we can select a level! It'll look like this (screenshot).

The background will look like the galaxy with many little stars. The big circles we can see on the screenshot will be levels that we can click on. The name of the levels will be written under the big circle.

Okay so I'm very glad, I started to touch programming again !
I have to say, I'm more an artist than a programmer so I'm always not confident when I'm programming.
Anyway, it took me a little bit of time but I solved a long time problem concerning the soldiers AI.

Yeaah the new build is out ! Coffee So there are two main changes here:
- the tutorial level
- the select level scene.

As you may know I stopped working on the game for almost 5 months. When I got back on it, I immediately saw the main flaws of the visual of the game. That's why I entirely changed the select lvl scene.

Okay so I'm presently doing a makeover for one of the main feature of the game : The damages of falling objects.

Right now I'm trying to find a way to allow objects to calculate their own damages after their width, height and mass.

Hello ! So I'm going with two major graphic changes : a camera closer to the character, and parallax.
I'm testing on level. When everything's fine, I'll have to rework the whole 8 levels!

I released the new build ! =D
I'm pretty satisfied with this one because I was open to major changes and I think it was for the best.

- I added some juiciness to the  select level scene
- Improved the position of the camera and added some parallax
- I also improved the level design of some levels

I also made a form people can fill up after they play the game. That way I get all the feedbacks ! =)

The next build is on the way :
- I'm almost done on the sound design, just have to check the balance between the sound effects
- I'm introducing a new character as well as a dialog intro.
- I'm doing some sort of quick patch to improve the level design. I intend to do a deep rework of the game design but it'll take
some time.

Took some vacation in Montréal. Wonderful trip, I love this city. Anyway, I got nice feedback there !
- I solved an animation issue when the character jumps.
- I'm making the game harder, the enemies deal  50% more damages
- I'm reworking the level 4. It is funnier and more challenging. The enemies are less stupid and we have more choices to beat them.
- We have an introduction to the story ! It is a short dialogue at the begining of the tutorial.

Build 3.4 is up !  Hand Knife Right Hand Fork Left Grin Grin

This build could have been the 3.3.1. For the first time ever,

- I improved a lot of my code so they are more efficient. It changes northing for the player, but it's easier for me to use. For the most part it's calling component on void start instead of feeling them up myself if you know what I mean.

- At last I improved the sound design. I'm really happy about this. There is no music, still, but it is the second time in 1,5 years that I work on the sound. We all know it's important, but we always delay the time to work on the sound. So I'm glad =)

- I redesigned level 4. It's a whole new experience now ! Please try it =)

Still working on the animations. It's long but I think I'm doing a better job than before.

Heyy =) Build 3.5 is up !!  Wizard Smiley Coffee
There are a lot of changes.
- Rework of the tutorial level (shorter, more punchy)
- Rework of level 5 : entirely changed !! It's brand new
- Changing some dialogues
- Moving the dialogue with a PNJ from level 8 to level 3
- Adding a new dialogue in a hidden place !
- Expanding the time between enemy attacks so the game is less difficult.
