My name is Matthew Rock and writing music is my passion. I grew up playing games on the Master System, SNES and N64 and this has strongly influenced the music I write today. I have always been fascinated by game music and what an important role it plays in creating a fun and memorable experience. Being a part of that process is nothing short of a childhood dream made real and I love what I do. I wouldn't trade it for any other job.
Whether you need strong, memorable melodies or mood-setting ambient tracks, I will work closely with you to create the perfect audio accompaniment to your project. I write in a variety of styles, from chiptune to orchestral and anywhere in between. As well as music, I can record and create any sound effects your project may require. I have also worked on music and sound design for an upcoming animated short film.
