Here is a quick and simple way to make pixel art with Aseprite.
Aseprite costs $10 and is entirely worth it!





This isn't a very good joke. What you see is really downsizing and not true pixel art. Sorry if a lot of people didn't get it.

while it's not practical to make "fast" "pixel" art. This method can be effective to make some "wannabe" art if you're into modifying and photoshopping photos.

worth noting that downsizing from a high-res drawing (that...you made, of course) is a genuinely good method of beginning a pixel. obviously not the final step; there's loads of tweaking you'll have to do, but it'll set you in the right direction at least
