My name is Joseph 'Wick' Perry. I grew up out in the country outside of Portland, Oregeon, so there wasn't a lot for a teen to do besides play games. At some point during middle school, I found a "Game Programming for Teens" book at goodwill with a demo CD for blitz basic and started working out of it. Soon, I was making games for class assignments (it was a small public school so my teachers were willing to let me do so)...

excellent post. always pursue your own dreams, one day you will surely fulfil them.. this actually sounds exactly like Leon from our studio, who used to be a hardcore gamer and wrote his own mods since he was 14 years old. Now he uses all that gaming experience from his childhood years to start developing his own game.
