Hey dudes! Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday :D I'm prepping my game for its demo debut and I guess I can't figure out how I want to approach things, so that's where exploiting you for your free opinions comes :D

But seriously, if you have a chance to test a game you're looking forward to early, would you rather it be:

A) A non-core side story that gives you some idea of the game and its world
B) Non-final gameplay of the actual intended project

I thought making like a "Episode 0" kind of prequel could be kind of fun, of course that means more effort on my part- is this approach worth it? How do people feel about this kind of thing?

Cutting a part of the game and turning it into a standalone demo sounds like maximum impact with the least amount of work
