Hi everyone, I am both proud and scared to show you the first screenshots of 3571 the Game : a 3D survival and craft RPG based on my webcomic 3571 Comics.
What's cool in my game ? Two things:1.
This is a 3D RPG game I made alone starting with NO programming skills2. My "real" job is Art direction; I rethought every UX, UI and gameplay from scratch : the result is
a complex game experience ( RPG system, crafting, items, random generation, trading, speaking, magic, riding animals and vehicles, ranged and melee weapons... )
with the most simple and intuitive controls and user interface possible.The challenge for me was to create everything from A to Z.
I already had essential skills from my full time job as art director / designer and personal hobbies : UX/UI, 3D modelling, character design and animation, and music/composition.
On the other hand I had to learn during long years - when not at work! - essential skills I didn't have at all : programming ( I started with C++ and HTML, and finally C#), mastering game creation software ( Unity ) and get involved in independant game creators communities, which I am trying to do here !
Can't wait to have comments, reactions and of course suggestions, which is the main principle of the 3571 project : the public can influence my work while I'm still creating. Feel free to suggest anything !
