Controls:

Mouse left click -------------------------------------------melee attack/range attack

Mouse right click ----------------------------------------- block

Summons Description:

Akira - Punches her enemies using her fist

Orc - Heavy attacks, jumps low and runs slow

Cat - Shoots out arrows, jumps the highest

Wraith - Medium attacks using scythe weapon, jumps medium

Dragon - Shoots out fireballs, jumps low and runs slow

After hearing positive feedbacks from our fans, we are revamping our character art style to make it more cohesive with the environment art.



Displaying Akira (the protagonist character) standing on top of a rock platform, that's going to be used for the Skyzone level.

Created a before and after collage for some of our characters. The after images are more vibrant and saturated, well-suited for our new art style. Do you all like our new art style?

There is a studio called Hi-Rez, seems prone to confusion. (They make Smite, Tribes, and Paladins).

There is a studio called Hi-Rez, seems prone to confusion. (They make Smite, Tribes, and Paladins).

(Enemy - Skeleton Lvl 3 Polished) We designed a skeleton character who seems small and vulnerable, but actually have the strength to carry a big shield (on the left hand) and a massive sword (on the right hand). Thinking 100% realistically will penalize your creativity at times. Therefore, we followed this formula for all of our characters:thinking outside the box and coming up with new/cool ideas).

In this screenshot, Akira (the protagonist) is inside the Dragon Lair zone. The artist provided concepts for the background and the foreground. I have a question for you all, since our game will have verticality to the levels, how should we go about implementing the backgrounds into our game? Should there be a gigantic image, or smaller seamless texture images, or another method? Can you provide links, unity plugins, and other tools that will help us with this task? Thanks.

Team is working on mutliple tasks. Plan on having a build and more videos/trailers by April 6th so we can submit our game for Terminus Conference and Festival(we can win awards and showcase our game, if selected).

What do you guys think? Open to any feedback.

Note that the project is still a work in project. We are currently updating the level to expand and add ramps and curves to the platforms, updating some of the characters and adding more characters as well as scripting better smarter A.I system. We are going to be displaying possibly 2 trailers, since we need to create them to compete in the "Terminus Conference + Festival" contest. Wish us luck!!

The team is focusing on creating our company's website and revising our Game Design Document (GDD) so that it's a maximum of 10 pages long. The Terminus Conference + Festival contest deadline is tomorrow (4/6/2017) at midnight pacific time. We are in preparation to submit. We will gain more exposure through this contest and future conventions and competitions.

Make sure you crossfade your audio files. There's lots of digital pops on the downbeats Smiley

We submitted to the Terminus Conference + Festival contest before midnight, last night. We should be notified by May 11th, on if we are finalists or not. I'm super excited just because this is our very first contest that we are participating in Smiley
