It's been many months since Fort Triumph was posted here, and we've made tons of progress we'd love to share with you.
Basics - Fort Triumph is a tactical RPG set in a fantasy setting, it follows in the footsteps of Xcom and other genre pillars, but adds a new element to the formula by making the environments interactive. Now when you enter a procedurally generated level you need to take into account the terrain and objects around it, since most of them can be kicked, pushed, burnt, toppled or otherwise manipulated to benefit your tactics.
https://forttriumph.comhttps://twitter.com/FortTriumphCurrent state - This is a pre-alpha, with many of the tactical systems implemented but no world map gameplay yet. We need your feedback and bug-spotting skills to polish this layer up so we can cook an awesome demo for our upcoming Kickstarter run (Also, if you're a content creator, we'd love for you to do something with our game, send word).
The build includes a tutorial and three missions, with more static elements than intended as not all of our auto-generation is good enough to throw out there yet. Mac and Linux builds are coming online very soon, IE today or tomorrow most likely, they'll be added to the Gamejolt page so you can follow there if you're waiting for either. There will also be a major build update around the same time (0.5.1).
To make it easy and safe, I'm including links to Gamejolt, but if you prefer a direct download you can email me at
[email protected] and I'll send it your way. Also please feel free to send your feedback to same address (or here).
