Hello,

I have just launched Beta of Minesweeper Go game on Android play market

Minesweeper GO is a classic minesweeper game with advanced features for experienced minesweeper players.

The main reason of creating another minesweeper game is that I want to bring advanced features that desktop minesweeper clones have (aka Arbiter, etc.) but mobile ones didn't.

Some key features:

• Application allows players to track their skill and board solving efficiency progress by
  calculating metrics that heavily used within minesweeper communities such as 3BV/s, Taps/s, RQP, IOE, IOS, etc.
• Players can take advantage of chord recursion options. Chord recursion helps to solve minefields at maximum speed.
• Every play is recorded. Players at any time can prove theirs best records by just playback recorded games. Other players can learn how to solve boards fast just by looking recordings of the best players
• Personal score board is designed to collect data by accounting different player game styles - Flagging and Non-Flagging (NF).
• Minesweeper GO introduces advanced minefield generation capabilities.
• Online World Ranking table keeps competitive spirit among players. Each player can publish personal records and compare them with another players.
• Impatient player will find some use of cheat options that can be enabled within settings.
• Every aspect of tap control can be tuned in options. Handling taps is very easy and fluent.

Hello

I have just published Minesweeper GO update.
A lot has been done to support player personalization.

Changelog:

- Created left navigation menu
- User personalization features:

• Update your avatar
• Change your name
• Change your country

- Fixed double tap detection bug that was a cause for some game recordings played incorrectly (Only new games will be recorded without this issue)
- Fixed issues with cropped player names within World Ranking list - World Ranking moved to the navigation menu
- Make game options selectable by tapping on the whole item, not only on the selector control

Hello

Next Minesweeper GO update has been published.
New update is aimed to improve user experience with minefield scrolling and includes a lot of advanced scroll tuning options.

Changelog:

- New minefield scroll tuning options:

• Tune scroll acceleration
• Tune scroll attenuation
• Tune tap to scroll sensivity

- Fixed another Video Recorder bug that lead to corrupted video recordings
- UI fixes and improvements on World Ranking and Ranking details screens

Hi,

New Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.9).

Changelog:

• Added Live (Active) Ranking feature
  Live Ranking shows on-line player rankings separately for each game difficulty (Beg/Int/Exp). Rankings can be filtered by style (FL/NF) and narrowed by date filter (for example to show only Today/Week/Month or All Time rankings).
  
  At the end of each calendar period best player is chosen to become the Leader of this period. Player stays to be a Leader until the end of the current period.
  
  
• News Feed feature
  Notifications of game updates, server maintenance and other events will be published here.
  
  
• Show more info on game Result dialog.
  Added notices to determine how current game result is close to the local record

New Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.15)

Most noticeable feature of this update is Portrait Orientation option for Expert board.
Using this option you can setup Expert board in a way that most of it is visible on screen.
Time you spend on scrolling Expert board will be substantially reduced.

Changelog:

• Enabled Portrait mode on Expert board
• Set long tap threshold in Options
• Increased zoom out degree. Enabled zoom in/out on Beginner board
• Fixed crash on startup on some old devices that doesn't support large textures
• Fixed occasional crash on exiting minefield scene when timer is active
• Fixed some issues with multitouch
• Fixed some visual artifacts
• Fixed video cursor scaling

Introduced Rank system. Now players will achieve game ranks by demining minefields. The higher the rank of the player, the more he is respected in the world of minesweeper.

• Added players Rank System
• Optimized minefield board rendering
• Removed scrollbars on minefield board
• Added Play Again feature. It allows you to repeatedly explore minefields on which you have already won or defeated
