When you see the art for The White Chamber in screenshots, it just looks like your average shitty anime art, but it's really not. When you're actually playing, the art is fantastic.

Demonophobia - Very, VERY, gory and sick japanese game, [...] Revolves mostly around finding every possible way to kill the protagonist,

...I'm sure you meant Tongue

Haven't seen mention of that in a looong while, and I didn't know there was something new brewing, will need to check it out.
But yeah, more gory than horrory, but it's a fun timewaste and could give some inspiration I've no doubt Smiley

You could add Soundless Mountain II to that list, although I always felt that Silent Hill 2 was more of a 'psychological drama' than straight-up horror.

Anchorhead is a great Lovecraftian piece of interactive fiction.

You can play it online through ifiction.org I believe, which is in the link.

Was just playing The White Chamber. I had to stop after about half an hour because I was getting really fucking scared. I'm the only one awake right now and all the lights in the house are out. Screamy

I'll try to get farther in the daytime. It's a fantastic game.

When you get to the console to control the robot, try entering the code before you are supposed to know it (preferably on a second playthrough)

I'm not adding much things that participated on the commonplace book competition because that can be visited by going to the compo page itself, but for the sake of reference, i'll link it on the first post.

Ah, well played. Had a good laugh when the yu-gi-oh character climbed out of the box.
