Sorry about the controls, man. I'm still working on making them more accessible for everyone. Though the game is designed to be played with analog as there's lots of analog movement.

Dude ummm your game is FUCKING AWESOME. I don't even like 2D fighting games that much, but your game does so many things right. I like the variety of moves available. The controls and feedback feel very, very good (I'm playing with an Xbox 360 game pad). I would say, far better than Shank or Dishwasher! This is a game I will keep around as reference for how to make 2D controls feel good I'm sure you're working on it, so I don't have much to say that would be helpful, but a tutorial level to exhibit some of the move techniques would be much awesome.

That looks really slick! (And very retro - like an old NES or Genesis game)

Hey, all! Just a quick update. I'm finishing up some bosses and sprinkling in a couple new bosses/encounters. Coop is working well. Netplay coop and matchmaking still needs to actually be implemented but I got it 'working' in a sense. I need to finish up a couple of extra challenge modes as well as the extra playable characters. Then, a big thing, is to get voice for all the characters. After that is done, I will work on a good promo vid for selling and competitions (like dream build play) down the line. Soon after that, i would like to just straight up release the level editor, or release it with much more user friendliness. Plus some in-game implementation to import those levels. We're getting down to it and I really appreciate all the support, guys! Later, Wilders!

Hey all! People have been having trouble running my game. If any of you have some free time visit http://www.tylerdoak.com/aceswild/aw_debug.zip and just see if it runs. Like if you can beat the first level at least. Thanks!

I've tried Aw_Release and Aw_Debug. The game crash when I hurt someone. I can atack, but if someone (or something) is hurt, the game crash.

just logging in to say this is a totally cool game. my 2 cents follow:
-difficulty is quite steep! (not sure if it's intentional) -would love to be able to kick people down while in mid-air. something like when you down-kick people into the floor in smash brothers (captain falcon, ness can do this and it's immense fun and great for juggling enemies).
that's it. great work!

Hey, congrats on completing the game! I've been waiting for this one for a while. I don't have the money to buy a copy right now, but when I do it's definitely on my purchase list. Hope you have lots of success with it!

Enjoying the game, thanks.
I find it a little hard to see my character sometimes with lots of enemies and effects nearby. I also can't always tell when I get hit. Is this intentional?
I'm having a little trouble chaining the rapid attack into a charged up crash attack. I guess you can't cancel into it until a certain point in the rapid attack animation. That might be a me problem. I'll keep working on it.
